ITINERARY
Day 01

When you arrive in Negombo make sure to settle into your lodging. Enjoy a day at the beach or explore the town’s colourful fish market colonial buildings and Dutch canals. 

Day 02

Explore the city on foot when you visit Kandy. See the revered Buddhist shrine known as the Temple of the Tooth Relic also referred to by the locals as Sri Dalada Maligawa. Go to the Royal Botanical Gardens next which is known for having a lot of agricultural land. Wander leisurely around Kandy Lake and explore the lively neighbourhood markets. Take in a nighttime Kandyan dance performance. 

Day 03 | 04

Arrive in Sigiriya and unwind in your lodging. Start the next morning with an exhilarating hike to Sigiriya Rock one of the nation’s most well-known tourist destinations. On the summit where the monarch’s home once stood the famous enormous lion paws guard the stairs. Explore Minneriya National Park, which is home to the world’s largest population of seasonal elephant gatherers on an exciting jeep safari in the afternoon. Next, proceed Eastward to explore the ruins of the former city. 

Day 05 | 06

Discover vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life by diving into adventure at Pigeon Island Marine National Park. Play in the tranquil coastal surroundings and unwind on the immaculate sands of Nilaveli Beach after that. In addition, take in the religious and cultural significance of the ancient Koneswaram Temple which is situated atop a cliff with a view of the sea. 

Day 07 | 08

Spend two days unwinding on the stunning beaches of Pasikuda. Take in the serene shoreline view while sunbathing and enjoying the calm waters. Engage in water activities like kayaking or snorkelling and take in the surrounding coral reefs. 

Day 09 | 10

Day 11

Day 12 | 13

Day 14

Day 15

Before leaving head back to Colombo for a city tour seeing the highlights including the Colombo National Museum, Galle Face Green and Gangarama Temple.
